VolleyDeep

Third-party licenses

Last updated: October 23, 2026 · program version 2026.10.23

VolleyDeep uses open-source components written by other developers, and we thank them. Below is the list of those distributed with the program, the bench app, the team cloud and the Android app, with the license of each one. These licenses apply only to those components: the rest of VolleyDeep is proprietary software.

Video: FFmpeg

To record, compress and cut videos, VolleyDeep uses FFmpeg, a separate program that VolleyDeep starts when needed. Version 9.0.1 and version 7.1 (bundled with imageio-ffmpeg) are included, in the “essentials” builds from gyan.dev.

In these builds FFmpeg is distributed under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later (GPL-3.0-or-later), because it contains libraries such as x264, x265, Xvid, libvpx, libaom, libvidstab, Rubber Band and others. The license text is included with the program and is available at gnu.org.

Source code. The complete source code of FFmpeg and of the libraries included in the distributed versions is available on request: write to info@volleydeep.com.

Microsoft components

The program includes some files that Microsoft allows developers to redistribute with their applications, under the terms of its licenses: the Microsoft Edge WebView2 SDK 1.0.3856.49, the Visual C++ 14.42 runtime, the Universal C Runtime (Universal CRT) and the .NET Standard compatibility libraries. The program window uses Microsoft Edge WebView2, which is usually already installed on Windows 10 and 11.
